Frequently asked questions
Yes — enable regex mode and write a JavaScript regular expression. Groups can be referenced in the replacement with $1, $2 and so on.
Matches must be surrounded by non-word characters, so replacing "cat" will not touch "category".
The original text stays in the input box until you change it, and a Clear button resets the workspace to start over.
