Key Features

Frequently asked questions
Everything physically present in the file that this implementation can parse: EXIF (IFD0, Exif, GPS and Interop fields), JPEG APPn segments, PNG ancillary chunks (text, timestamp, colour profile, physical dimensions) and WebP RIFF metadata chunks.
Many images are stripped of metadata by the app that saved them, or by a messaging service that re-compressed them. If nothing is found, the file genuinely carries no metadata — the viewer says so instead of inventing values.
