Yes — aspect ratio locking is on by default. Edit one dimension and the other follows the image's own proportions automatically.
Pixels by default, plus inch, cm and mm with a configurable DPI for print-oriented workflows.
Downscaling preserves detail well; the image is resampled once and re-encoded at high quality. Enlarging cannot invent detail that was never captured, so very large upscales soften.
Not by default — Output Format is set to Original, so a JPEG stays a JPEG. Choosing PNG, JPG, JPEG or WebP converts the resized output to that format.
